Are You Required to Take Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos?
If you are considering a breast lift (mastopexy), it’s important to know that we will not use your photos unless you give us write consent to do so. If you do not give your consent for as to use your photos they will remain on your patient file and will only be used as a reference for you and your surgeon.
Typically, we will take pictures before your procedure, with no external makeup or other products applied to hide anything from showing on camera. We often take, post-op/after pictures (sometimes called post-op) a few days after your procedure and at post-op appointments to track your progress.
These photos are typically for Dr Briggs to study the patient before, during and after surgery and track their results. Before and After photos are also a great reference for those considering breast lift (mastopexy) surgery.
